We use a QR code intercom system to provide remote, secure access to our studio.
How it Works:
- Doors start opening 10 minutes before class: plan your arrival accordingly
- Use your phone to scan the QR code by the Dufferin door (no app required)
- Select “Good Space” from the directory
- Get remotely buzzed in by someone at the front desk
- Be on time: entry closes at class start-time
Note: Location Services need to be turned ON for the web browser on your phone. This can be modified in your phone's settings.
-
As a building with a busy street-facing entrance, we have implemented a QR code intercom system to enhance the safety and security of our community while maintaining a smooth check-in experience.
-
No. You'll simply scan the QR code posted at the Dufferin entrance with your phone's camera to start the video call.
-
Yes. The video call is part of our entry process and required by the software we use.
If you have privacy concerns, you're welcome to point your camera toward the wall, ground, or sky instead of your face. Our priority is facilitating entry while maintaining the security of the building.
-
We understand that many members enjoy leaving their phones at home as part of disconnecting and being present.
While bringing you phone to the studio will now be required for studio access, there are a few ways to still protect your “phone-free” time:
- Turn on Do Not Disturb as soon as you arrive
- Use Airplane Mode once you’ve been buzzed in
- Keep your phone tucked away in your bag during class
- Treat your phone as a tool for entry only, not something you need to engage with beyond that
Our hope is that this small adjustment still allows you to fully drop in, unplug, and enjoy the space once you’re inside.
Thank you for working with us as we prioritize a safe studio environment for everyone.
-
Our team begins buzzing clients in 10 minutes before class starts.
We recommend arriving within this window to ensure a smooth check-in.
-
Once class begins, our focus shifts to supporting the class in session.
After that, entry closes so class can begin without disruption.
-
To create the best possible experience for everyone, we aim to minimize interruptions once class is underway. Locking the doors at the start of class helps maintain a calm, focused environment while supporting the safety and security of everyone in the studio.
-
No. Once you're let through the Dufferin entrance, our studio door will also be opened so you can come directly upstairs.
-
Technology isn't perfect, and we appreciate your patience. If you experience an issue, please try calling again. Our team will do their best to assist you during the entry window.
-
To help us prepare the studio and transition between classes, entry begins 10 minutes before your scheduled class.
-
Absolutely! We're happy to help you get comfortable with the new system. The first few visits may feel different, but it quickly becomes part of your regular routine.
