Our studio policies are in place to create a fair and mindful environment with respect for students, facilitators and the space we share.
Guidelines + Expectations
We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to your class start time, so that you may set yourself up on a mat and be ready for class 5 minutes before the instructor begins.
If the class is full and you are not present 5 minutes before the start-time, your spot may be given to a drop-in.
Remove your shoes before checking in by providing your name to the team member sitting behind the reception desk. At this time, please advise us of any special needs, injuries or conditions requiring attention or modification.
Please leave enough time to get to practice and set up before your class begins. Out of respect for the space created inside the studio room and your fellow space sharers, no latecomers will be admitted to the studio after class start time.
Cell phones are to be stored in personal storage cubbies, either in or outside of the studio room and are not to be taken with you on your mat.
You are welcome to use your cell phone outside of class in the lounge, however for the respect of others in the space, please refrain from taking calls and always have your phone on silent.
Where to Leave Your Things
Good Space provides personal belonging storage inside the studio room. Please leave coats and shoes in the coat and shoe area by the entrance. Unfortunately we cannot assume responsibility for any lost or stolen items in our space.
Registering for Class
We recommend registering for all classes before arriving to avoid the disappointment of a full class upon arrival. Class registration can be made up to 14 days in advance of a class.
Cancelling a Class
Class registration may be cancelled online up to 4 hours before class start time. Should you cancel within this 4 hour window, you will either be charged $20 to your credit card on file (unlimited members/passes) or lose the class (10-class or single class pass holders + light members).
If you do not show up for a class that you have registered for, the penalization is the same as cancelling the class within the 4 hour window: $20 to your credit card on file for unllimited members/pass-holders or lose the class for 10-class + single class pass holders and light members.
Single Passes, 10-Class Passes, and Introductory Offers have expiration dates, as follows:

Payment is due upon purchase of any pass or services.
You will not be able to register for classes if there is no current or active pass on your account. This may prevent you from being able to attend classes.
We are a cash free studio! Our payment options for classes, workshops, snacks, and retail items include: Debit/Interac, Visa and Mastercard.
Returns & Refunds
There are no refunds or returns on purchases for classes or membership plans.
Returns of retail items may be made within 7 days of purchase, with refunds issued to the original form of payment. Items must contain their original packaging and tags, and be unused in any way.
Payments for Workshops + Events
Full payment is required to reserve/confirm a spot in a workshop or event.
No refunds issued within 48 hours of a workshop start date.
15% administration fee is charged on all refunds no matter the reason.
Exceptions are made if the refund request is made to a client’s account for future use at the studio - in this case a refund will be issue in full, no fee.
Memberships are designed to offer an affordable way to bring regular practice into your daily life. We have 2 membership tiers at our studio, depending on how regular you want to be with us:
Light - up to 6 classes/month.
Unlimited - unlimited # of classes/month.
Members of both tiers receive these additional member benefits:
15% off workshops and Good Space merch.
Unlimited First Time Guest passes.
Terms + Conditions
Auto-Renew Membership contracts consist of automatic monthly withdrawals from your credit card, starting the day you sign up for your membership.
Minimum 6 month commitment.
Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Should a default occur on an Auto Payment, a $10+HST Fee will be applied after 72hrs if not reconciled, at which time the membership will be placed on hold until resolution.
Memberships and payment schedule will renew automatically every 12 months.
Discounted workshops and merch cannot be combined with 10% discount for students + yoga teachers.
Membership Hold Policy
Temporary holds/suspensions may be made on your membership a maximum of 2 times every membership year for a minimum of 2 weeks and no longer than 4 each hold.
To place a hold on your membership, write to firstname.lastname@example.org with your first and last name, intended hold start date and end date and we will get back to you within 3 business days with approval or a request for more information.
Membership Guest Policy
Members receive unlimited First Time Guest passes to any classes at our studio.
Guests must be new to the studio.
Cancellation fees apply to Guest passes, and will be charged to the member’s card on file.
To attend a class with your guest, contact us prior with your guest’s name, email, and phone number so that we may save a spot for them.
Membership Cancellation Policy
Commitment for Auto-Renew Contracts and Memberships is a minimum of 6 pay periods. Should you need to cancel your membership prior to this, a $50+HST fee will be charged to your card.
If you wish to move from an Unlimited to a Light Membership, a $20+HST fee will be charged to the card we have on file. These shifts can only be made once per annum.
If you wish to cancel your membership after the minimum 6-month commitment, you must give a minimum 14 days notice before your next automatic payment date. If notice is given less than 14 days before the next pay period, Good Space will take one additional monthly fee after the cancellation has been made, and membership privileges will continue for the duration of that additional month charged. All cancellation requests are to be written to email@example.com.
