Our studio policies are in place to create a fair and mindful environment with respect for students, instructors and the space we share.

Complimentary Mats

Complimentary yoga mat + all required props are provided to each student in class. Please clean the mat with the provided cleaner after practice.

Guidelines + Expectations

We recommend arriving 10 minutes prior to your class start time, so that you may set yourself up on a mat and be ready for class 5 minutes before the instructor begins.

Upon Arrival

Remove your shoes before checking in by providing your name to the team member sitting behind the reception desk. At this time, please advise us of any special needs, injuries or conditions requiring attention or modification.

Arriving Late

Please leave enough time to get to practice and set up before your class begins. Out of respect for the space created inside the studio room and your fellow space sharers, no latecomers will be admitted to the studio after class start time.

Cell Phones

Cell phones are to be stored in personal storage cubbies, either in or outside of the studio room and are not to be taken with you on your mat.

You are welcome to use your cell phone outside of class in the lounge, however for the respect of others in the space, please refrain from taking calls and always have your phone on silent.

Where to Leave Your Things

Good Space provides personal belonging storage inside the studio room. Please leave coats and shoes in the coat and shoe area by the entrance. Unfortunately we cannot assume responsibility for any lost or stolen items in our space.

Registering for Class

Pre-registering for a class is recommended to secure your spot, however dropping in without registering is also permitted. We cannot guarantee that there will be a spot available.

Cancelling a Class

Class registration may be cancelled online up to 6 hours before class start time. Should you cancel within this 6-hour window, you will lose the class or face a $16 penalty fee for Annual Unlimited members. If you are experiencing symptoms related to Covid-19 do not come to class until you have tested negative. We can be flexible on our 6-hour late cancellation policy when it comes to the safety of our community at large.

No-Shows

If you do not show up for a class that you have registered for, the penalization is the same as cancelling the class within the 6-hour window: you will lose the class or face a $16 penalty fee for Annual Unlimited members.

Pass Expiration

Intro Passes, Single Class Passes and 6-Class Passes do not expire.

All prices are subject to HST.

Payment is due upon purchase of any pass or services.

You will not be able to register for classes if there is no current or active pass on your account. This may prevent you from being able to attend classes.

Cash Free

We are a cash free studio! Our payment options for classes, workshops, and retail items include: Debit/Interac, Visa, Mastercard and AMEX.

Returns & Refunds

There are no refunds or returns on purchases for classes, membership plans, workshops or retail items.

Payments for Workshops + Events

Full payment is required to reserve/confirm a spot in a workshop or event. No refunds.

Sharing Passes

6-Class Packs are shareable with one other person. To share a pack, please email us with the name and email address of the person you wish to share with at least 48 hours before the first class you wish to attend together. Sharing arrangements must be set up in advance, not at the studio before your class. Intro Passes, Light and Full memberships are non-shareable.

Memberships are designed to offer an affordable way to bring regular practice into your daily life. We have two membership tiers at our studio:

  1. Light - 4 classes

  2. Supporter - 8 classes

Memberships renew after one month, unused classes do not roll over. Members of both tiers receive these additional member benefits:

  • 15% off workshops and Good Space merch.

  • Unlimited first-time guest passes.

Terms + Conditions

  • Auto-Renew Membership contracts consist of automatic withdrawals from your credit card, starting the day you sign up for your membership.

  • There is a minimum commitment of two billing periods. Early cancellations incur a $50 fee.

  • Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Should a default occur on an Auto Payment, a $10+HST Fee will be applied after 72hrs if not reconciled, at which time the membership will be placed on hold until resolution.

  • Memberships and payment schedule will renew automatically every 12 months.

Membership Hold Policy

Temporary holds/suspensions may be made on your membership a maximum of 2 times every membership year for a minimum of 2 weeks and no longer than 4 each hold.

To place a hold on your membership, write to hello@goodspacetoronto.ca with your first and last name, intended hold start date and end date and we will get back to you within 3 business days with approval or a request for more information.

Membership Cancellation Policy

There is a minimum required commitment of two billing periods for both membership tiers. If you wish to cancel before this, a $50 fee will be charged.

To cancel, you must give a minimum 7 days notice before your next automatic payment date. If notice is given less than 7 days before the next pay period, Good Space will take one additional membership fee after the cancellation has been made, and membership privileges will continue for the duration of that additional cycle charged. All cancellation requests are to be written to hello@goodspacetoronto.ca.
