We are seeking enthusiastic + friendly folks to join our Front Desk Staff Team! The Front Desk Staff Representative is the welcoming face of the studio: greeting clients, managing studio communications, advocating and educating our community on the benefits of a mindful movement practice and supporting our community with care and professionalism. This role also plays an important part in keeping our studio environment clean and organized.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent sales, communication and customer service skills
  • Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve targets and an excitement about exceeding goals
  • Motivated by sales commissions
  • Strong customer service skills
  • A background in retail or another type of sales position
  • Ability to learn and use Mariana Tek and Google Sheets
  • Must have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Schedule flexibility and variability is required
  • Ability to perform physical tasks like vacuuming, mopping and moving boxes

A successful candidate will:

  • Report directly to the Studio Owner and Manager
  • Consistently create a warm and welcoming environment for clients
  • Be responsible for prospect nurturing, new membership sales and the retention of current members
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales goals
  • Answer client care inquiries in-person and over email with professionalism, proactive problem-solving skills and care
  • Enjoy connecting with customers, asking questions and building relationships and community
  • Have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Be passionate about what they are selling and confidently make intelligent recommendations based on our community's needs
  • Be high energy, positive and self-motivated
  • Assist with the mutual tending of our space including cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, mopping and organizing
  • Conduct studio tours with new clients
  • Be knowledgeable about current products, programs and pricing
  • Have a keen eye for detail and cleanliness around the studio
  • Attend paid group Town Hall meetings and 1:1 check-ins with the Studio Owner and Manager
  • Contribute photo and video content to our shared photo album in alignment with our content recommendations and specifications
  • Complete other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

  • Sales experience
  • Passion for yoga/Pilates/health and able to speak to benefits of what we offer
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in cleaning and organization
